Crystal (they/them) is an award-winning Japanese-American artist from Michigan who loves everything theatre onstage and backstage.

They discovered their love for theatre from a young age, and since, has shared their passion for the art in any medium they can to anyone who will listen. They began as an actor, but in pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Oakland University, has explored design, directing, playwriting, and so much more.

Crystal is especially dedicated to uplifting marginalized voices of POC and LGBTQ+ artists and sharing their stories of joy and triumph through the theatrical medium.

Crystal’s work has has been featured internationally across the globe, including Greece, Costa Rica, and Japan.

In Crystal’s free time, they love to binge Star Wars movies, and play Dungeons & Dragons with their three-legged orange cat, Pumpkin. They pride themselves on having a new hair color every year.
